Central
Church is truly an intergenerational church. Every person no
matter the age is welcomed in here. There’s even a special
place for those who have walked many years on this journey of
life and plan on walking many more. Here are a few exciting
opportunities for our mature adults who enjoy doing life
together.
•
September trip to Colorado
Each year our seniors load up on a charter bus and head for
the Rockies. They share together morning devotionals, take
scenic tours during the day and enjoy a fun filled night life
of games and fellowship.
•
Foliage tour in the fall
The fall is a beautiful time of year in green country. That’s
the eastern part of Oklahoma for those of you not from around
here. Each year the seniors load up at and head for the
country side to see the changing leaves. They enjoy a
wonderful lunch and each other’s company.
Trip to the gardens in Muskogee
The seniors also enjoy the time of year when the flowers
begin to bloom in Muskogee Oklahoma. It’s a town about
forty-five minutes south of Tulsa and is known around the
state for some of the most beautiful gardens.
•
Annual Labor Day Picnic
• Annual Christmas Dinner
•
Monthly Brown Bag fellowship
One Sunday night a month the seniors gather after the
traditional service on Sunday night for a time of food, fun
and fellowship. Everybody brings their own brown bag with
food.
